Tyler and Kyle are playing on Team Illinois AAA next season. Tim sent them there. Do you know Lance?

Oh ya, he probably is. I heard Tyler say something in the locker room that he had to switch schools because of some tournament. Oh, if your looking at new pads, I might suggest the new GDI pads. They just came out and they are custom fit. I was looking at getting a set of them myself, since my nike bauers are getting a little small. I just want to be at least 5'5 by the end of the summer. I think that might be a reasonable goal.

Yeah, size does seem to matter to most coaches even if the player is good. I am about 5'6 5'7 and even at my size some AAA coaches aren't so sure. Like the Tbirds Bantam coach, he likes BIG players. Right now I am in Toronto with Mission at the Prospects Tourney, I saw Tim walk by but couldn't catch him to say hello. I think he is here with Tyler.

Ya, I think that I could make it. I think that my biggest weakness is how small I am. I am almost 5 ft 3 in. I really want to grow a lot over the summer.

Thats freaking awesome that your going to be on like the best te ever. I dont care if my teams good or not, I just want to play AAA. That would be awesome if I made the TBirds. I hope that your team does well and I hope that I make AAA because that would be AWESOME!!!!!!!

NATIONALS?!?!?!?! How good are you? Geez. Oh well. Dude, I might try out for the Thunderbirds AAA this upcoming year. I doubt that I will make it, but hey, its worth a shot.

Well, I meant that I played in the tournament, not on FRAHA

Cool. I've never heard of Smith pads, are they really good? Also, in Squirts, you played on FRAHA in the NCYH Blades of Steel tournament. So did I! My team never faced yours, since the organization I played on only had C level teams, but that is still awesome. My team won the C level tournament

That couldn't have been me man. Tim didn't pick me for the selects. You must've seen another goalie with sick Nike Bauer pads. Thanks anyway. Did you know that Montreal made goalie pads? Man they are pretty cool. I want to get myself a Montreal stick

Game On!

As some people might know, I was injured last season, so I did not play at all last year. Today, I just started goalie trainning for the first time in months. It was AWESOME! I had a new chest protector (Vaughn Epic 8800), new pants (Brians Dx2 Pro), and a new mask (Hackva). It was pretty ackward with the new equipment, but I managed to do pretty well.

Off Season (dryland) training versus just playing a Summer sport

I'd like to get some feedback and thoughts on the topic of off-season training versus just playing a Summer sport or combining both. Also thoughts on how much ice outside of a goaltending camp, if any, considered to be sufficient to maintain skills.

We got third in State

We got third in State. We played Arvada and lost 3-2. I was so sad. Oh well. We still got third in state and we still beat the best team in our league and we still beat the team that won state, Littleton, in a Presidents Day Tournament 2-1. Oh well. It was still fun to play in!
