Hi, thanks. I'm trying to perform this stretches every day.
I also perform one other stretch after every ice practice: I sit in butterfly position close to board with blades of my skates touching board. Then I pull tops of my pads to me to intense my butterfly and hold the stretch for about 30 seconds). I even think I see small improvement now.
BTW, what stretches do you use for regular split?

Summer Trainning

Trainning is going great. I gained 10 pounds already. I changed my trainning to more speed related excercises, and it made a huge difference. When I was on the ice last night, I felt light and my endurance was much better. My only problem now is, like always, my Fleury legs. I always over push too much. Game On!

As some people might know, I was injured last season, so I did not play at all last year. Today, I just started goalie trainning for the first time in months. It was AWESOME! I had a new chest protector (Vaughn Epic 8800), new pants (Brians Dx2 Pro), and a new mask (Hackva). It was pretty ackward with the new equipment, but I managed to do pretty well.

Off Season (dryland) training versus just playing a Summer sport

I'd like to get some feedback and thoughts on the topic of off-season training versus just playing a Summer sport or combining both. Also thoughts on how much ice outside of a goaltending camp, if any, considered to be sufficient to maintain skills.
